Cause that is life on "da streets".

actually harris county was a seatbelt ticket i forgot to pay until i was pulled over for "running a red light" that was actually yellow.

montgomery county was actually a interesting story that involves lots of alcohol, duck calls, and a wiffle ball bat.

He's a trooper, AKA, traffic cop. Traffic enforcement is his job.

Ride safe!
Wrong!

We are ragging on him for not taking responsibility. When I ride like an , I will be the first to tell you that I'm riding like an .

It's not the cop's fault he rode like an . That cop is just doing his job- keeping the riders off the streets - maybe he was a douche about it, maybe he wasn't (taking the phone sounds pretty douchey to me). Cops are just like civilians - some of them are dicks, and some of them are cool.

+1 on being lucky you didn't go to Harris County. Last time I went there I was kept in the initial holding cell for over 18 hours. Everytime someone new came in every 20 minutes everyone would have to get up and move back because there were so many people in their. They literally deprive you of sleep. I went in at 8pm and they didn't get to sleep until about noon the next day. If you don't wake up when they tell you to move to the back of the cell every 20 minutes they will beat your . All it takes is a couple of these trips as a youngster and you're driving like a dumbass days will be over.

I'm old now, but when I was young, cops and judges had a way to deal with tough, young kids. They gave us a choice, go to jail or, if we thought we were really tough, we could jump out of a helicopter into a hot LZ. Lots of of us thought the helicopter was the way to go.

Once he took your phone, he crossed the line.

Get a lawyer. On that basis alone you may well get the ticket dismissed.

should have been a speeding ticket, yes.

too bad it was in Jackson Co. The arresting officer claimed I was weaving in and out of traffic (though there was no traffic). Too bad the dash cam footage was 'mysteriously' erased before my lawyer could request it.
