Texting and riding???

I actually saw someone doing this, they were a passenger but still. It goes without saying that neither of them had any gear on, unless you count tennis shoes. Has anyone else see people doing this? Or do this themselves? I tried but my gloves get in the way for some reason.

I wish, I would have violated my no photos while driving rule. I just said tennis shoes because they were the most protective thing they had on.

If it wasn't, they'd have other bigger issues for us to make fun of!

I do. My phone is touch screen but still works through my gloves. If going slow enough, I can use speech to text too.

I had a friend, who rode with me and she would text and try to nap ( or at least put her head down) and I told her that she can't be doing that . You never know if something could happen. She tried to fall asleep one time and a hit da brakes kinda hard and told her to wake up. I don't ride with her. I can't stand that . I don't mind texting when we are stopped at a long light. But a short light, sometimes it takes longer to get your phone out. So I just wait till I get home or where ever I'm going.

Yeah I have done it before. Talked while riding and text, get the alpines glove from Cycle Gear, they work perfect. Hahahaha

Ps I only do it when its an emergency like if the wife is calling to know if I'm okay, or trying to meet up some peeps.
