Anyone Painted windscreen?

A buddy and I were talking about the things we wanted to do to our bikes and one of my "upgrades' was to put on a windscreen. Then he brought up the idea, why not just save your $75 and paint the back of it black? I thought it wasnt a half bad idea, what do yall think?

Do you ever get down on your tank? (That would insinuate that you are hauling )

lol. If that is the case, paint away.

If you ever get down low enough that you actually have to look through it... I wouldn't do it.

But seriously, mine was painted when I got it. Put a sticker or a graphic on first, then paint it. You won't be able to tuck though.

I like the sticker/graphic idea.
Maybe paint like half and leave the rest clear or sumpthin like that.

My 600's was painted. Darkened the cluster area and made the gauges stand out more while illuminated.

Yea, I bought my GSXR-600 from a guy and it was already painted black. It accents the bike really well though. I get low though, but I can still see right above the windscreen. It's my avatar, if you can see it.....

I have no idea. Mine already came painted. I didn't ask what kind he used. It is a flat black though, I can tell you that.

I painted mine. I have a blue Ninja 250r. I think it looks great. Very easy and cheap. Used plastic paint.
