HID's flicker, then turn off. More inside--

I just put my HID kit on my bike.. I've ran into this same problem before on my past bike but I am down to find the cause..

I Installed the kit, turned the key and it turns on, flickers, then shuts off.. In order for me to keep the light on, I have to turn the key on and off about 5 times to keep it to stay on.

What could be the cause? The HID kit is new, so that rules out the question (I pulled it off my car before I sold it)

I do not have a relay wired up, But not sure if they would CAUSE it. Its a plug and play kit.

Anyone?

Try switchin out ballasts, sounds like that ballasts might be the bad part..had the same problem on my truck before.

And all your connections are good? That's pretty much only thing I can think of, ballasts or connections are bad... I would try n see if you can get them to send you a new set.

mine will do the same thing sometime. i only turn the bike on with lo beam and flip hi-beam on after warm up. otherwise i have issues with hid ignition. i did see a website that sold a delay module for the hid's for motorcycle use.
