Patrick Locher's funeral was today though I could not bring myself to go to it. I didnt know Patrick though I had met him but I know a lot of his friends pretty well. I lost my best friend from high school in an eerily similar wreck in '06 up in Lubbock TX.

I'm glad to see i'm not the only one so tore up over this ordeal. I thought something was wrong with me but after reading this thread and a few others like it the sense of brotherhood felt between riders goes pretty deep and when you loose one, especially so young; it hurts!

Anyway some local's are trying to put a big gathering together dubbed the "Can you see me?" ride they want to get a BUNCH of bikes from all over TX together to have one final memorial ride for Patrick. If anyone is interested I can post details when I find them out

Do post up the details, and I will cross post on Supermotojunkie. Maybe the ride should target the Loop and Navarro.

no details yet.... haven't really talked to anyone everyone got kinda quiet after the funeral which was expected. i hope they pull it off....

strangely this ordeal makes me want another bike; i long for that feeling of freedom and speed; even a 500hp civic can't match that feeling
