That's just sick. 1 dead, 1 still in coma, and 1 with multiple broken bones because this worthless ran them over while driving drunk ON DUTY, and now will get off with nothing more than a slap on the wrist in comparison. Amazing.

not sure if you all read over the article, but he's not gotten away with murder. still looking at minimum of 3-4 yrs of prison, possibly 8-10 ( unlikely....)

while still shitty, he's not COMPLETELY getting off.

that said, i sure hope the FBI gets in there and cleans house. maybe it's wishful thinking...but taht's some Bullshit. Cop needs to have a finger chopped off as a constant reminder of what he did. as should ANY drunk drivers. you'll think twice about that next time......

Bullshit, this aint Kansas Dorothy. Those charges can be explained, "he had lights and siren on and they didn't move blah blah blah" considering they won't even be allowed to mention his BAC in court.

this is why I am so biased against crooked cops. It is not surprising to me, my parents were internal affairs for the treasury department so I have heard lots of stories over the years. it happens way more than you might think.

Article says that the most serious charges were dropped. Also sounds like standard SOP for the blood draw would have been to take him to a hospital to have it done, not a clinic.

Gotcha, ur right.

Quote:
And while his most serious dismissed charge would have carried a potential penalty of six to 20 years in prison, the reckless homicide charge's penalty range is two to eight years. The criminal recklessness counts each carry a maximum penalty of three years.
Quote:
Brizzi said he would dismiss all six of Bisard's felony counts of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated, including one Class B felony. That leaves a Class C felony count of reckless homicide as the most serious charge, alongside two newly filed Class D felony counts of criminal recklessness.
Maybe we'll get lucky and his cellmate will kill him
