Out of State registration...

I'm finnaly registering my bike in Texas. I bought the bike new in Arizona in 2003. I paid off the note after I moved to texas in 2006 but I never recieved a lien release or a title from the bank and trying to do business with anyone over the phone is not getting me anywhere. I really don't need the title unless I want to sell it, but what about getting in registerd? Do I even need a title or just the most recent reg/proof of insurance/inspection etc? Any info would be helpfull.
