The thought of jail scares me, call my a pusst all you want but it does, have you ever seen someo of those women that come out, I have while I have waited to pick up friends getting out. If i have to end up paying the 675 so be it, I just don't want to end up a jail bird!! Plus isn't one day in jail=$100, no thanks to 66 and half days in jail!! anyways thanks for all your guys opinions

A lot of times, they don't look at why you went to jail. A misdermeaner is a misdermeaner where a felony is a felony. I don't think there are differences when your employer looks at it. Going to jail because of a traffic warrant also shows you are irresponsible. That'll go over well with your future employer.

yea $675 isn't just 24 hours in jail. If it's Harris County and you go downtown, 24 hours = $100 lifted. You'll be there for a week. Trust me, i've been to just about every jail in houston because of old traffic tickets i forgot to pay. Just 12 hours in jail feels like DAYS. I spent 3 days in Mikawa, i was about to go insane.. i could feel it coming.

Not being able to know WHY you're there, how LONG you're going to be there, or what time of day it is will crack you mentally. That and the smell.

I hope I'm not too late on this.. Look, I used to get warrants all the time and I ALWAYS did this and it ALWAYS worked. This isn't some bs it's what I actually do.

Find out when the next court session will be for the courthouse where your ticket is from, go in to the courtroom and sign in, the DA will pull your file and call you up. You go up there and he'll say "Hmmmmmm, I see you have a FTA but here you are, Take care of this ticket today and I'll drop the FTA" So I would always pay to have the ticket deferred and get the FTA thrown out. Simple and done, no bail-bondsman and no extra money, it's like it never happened.

It doesn't work if the warrant is for robbing a bank
