Find a person or 2 you trust and ride the way you want to ride or ride by yourself.... that's what I do, I generally don't like large group either.. Hit me up if your ever off during the weekdays morning, I do a lot of solo back-roads and have no problem riding at whatever pace you're comfortable with.

45% track - instructing, so I guess it qualifies as work, but still fun
35% track - personal track time
20% backroads

I live 5-10 minutes (in heavy traffic) from work , so I ussually just drive the truck.

50/50.. Try to ride every day for work and catch up with people after work. Or just take a joy ride to get home. If I don't feel like trying to ride that day, I take the car.

5% work
95% pleasure

About the only reason I ever ride my bikes to work is during the heat of the summer I don't ride for pleasure, yet I also don't want the bikes to just sit there. I want to keep gas running through them, don't want any flat spots to develope on the tires, etc.

+1 on somedays, especially leaving at 7 am in the morning, you just aren't in the right MINDSET to ride...it is enjoyable as , but it takes wayyyy more concentration and focus that just commuting in a car.

when i don't feel like sweating or thinking too hard, i roll in the Nissan
