not always. I got arrested for 96 in a 65. I was almost 30 years old, CHL holder, very courteous with no priors for years and still got cuffed and stuffed.

This on my 'car news' website i check and just thought i would share.

After hearing about RR and ASI and PP1 and Forest ride all getting busted could this article have something to do with that? are cops cracking down? Is this not only a Houston problem but throughout the U.S? very interesting

As far as my opinion...
For now ill just say im neutral to avoid any arguing with me involved

But i will say this, cops want to pull bikes over SO BAD and that is social profiling. If an Arabic person go's to an airport with a turban on and all his 'natural attire' dont you think security will watch him more then me as a white male? Who knows he could be the coolest guy or heck even a terrorist, same thing with bikes, cops know there fast but it could be a weekend warrior who likes to go for a nice cruise or it could be the crazy squid pulling wheelies at 150.
When i ride i feel like cops are out to get me.

Thats my 0.02$

should be an interesting thread.

Group of us got pulled over on 359 (kind of a benefit ride at the time) doing 59 in a 50 zone. Ask Cali about that one...

never been ticketed on a bike. been pulled over a few times. once on my beat to old cbr600. no plastics, orielly brand driving lights zip-tied on for headlights. pulled over by seabrook pd. all he asked me is whats the deal with my flashing tail light. i told him it was an led spinner light so im more visible from behind. he said okay, have a nice day.

second time was on a small group ride with azylum and a few others, dont remember who all they were. clipping down 45 s at about 80-85, cop pulled all of us over ( except azylum ) said we were speeding, but not doing anything dumb, checked all of us out. one guy got a ticket for no registration. cop sent us on our way.

if you think all cops are dickheads, go check out the dirtay party pics thread. that cop was cool as , " arrested " tonyt for and giggles cause everyone asked him to.

I forgot ALL ABOUT THAT!

that was some funny .

As for the subject, dont be a , and most cops wont be either. Whether you do or you dont personally have respect for LEO, be respectful anyways, and dont play "cat-n-mouse" games. Be up front, and IF you have anything that can be found with him looking anyways tell him UP FRONT! (finding on thier own = "hiding" to them.

Honesty goes a long way with LEO's. They may have to still do thier job, but they will be a lot more reasonable with you (and may turn a blind eye, towards other stuff, or actual reason for pull over)
