Traction Control is now LEGAL in AMA racing

http://www.roadracingworld.com/news/...&article=26412

Now maybe the teams with class that haven't been using it will be able to give the Yoshimura Suzuki Cheaters errr Team a run for their money.

Ducati guys were rumored to have it and AMA confiscated two bikes for iinspection. Soon they will take away all skill involved and provide a "hang on and win" package at your local dealer. Can I get curb feelers with that?

I don't remember that.. I remember them confiscating the front wheels from The Yosh teams, and Ducati issuing a statement saying they'd never use it here as long as it was outlawed. I guess they are free to install thier systems now.

But really, the Yosh guys were the only ones that are obviously using it. YOu can here the engine coughing/sputtering coming out of the turns

I like it, I think allowing the technology will increase the speed at which it makes it to production bikes. Of course, the more technology that gets put on the more difficult to maintian...but still very cool!

Traction control related article, first three paragraphs. Might make those big dukes a little more competitive in the states.
