if you run 9.99 or faster or over 120mph . you need full leather . and i think a kill switch of some kind.
if you go to HMP 1\8 you dont need much . just gloves jacket helmet and high top shoes.

You should bust 120 on a 600. You could let off at the end. That's no fun though. Their web site has the rules.

You might have some fun in STOCK ET at MOTO FEST. Bracket (ET) racing is where you declare you time ahead and the opponent or you gets a head start to equalize it. So if you're running the same by Sept 25th & 26th, you might dial in 12.15. You'd still almost go all out. If the other guy dials 11.15 you get a 1 second head start. By the end you should be neck an neck. STOCK ET is only for virtually stock bikes and $15 to enter. The class is running both Sat and Sunday.

Where you spinning the wheel when launching or shifting? Get the shift points right and get better lights, you'll be in the 11s for sure.
You're off to a Good start.

so did you end up running in bluejeans??! i've gone to the 1/8 twice and liking it, i want to go out to baytown but i don't have leather pants or a kill switch. so the guy who said buy the boat lanyard, are you saying just velcro it and make it look like it's wired up but not really?? can you get away w that.?? i just dumped a lot on a dainese jacket and don't have the cash for everything else just yet.

Yes. Velcro it to the switch. Tip over switch will kill it anyway.

I was told last weekend at HRP that factory tip-over switches are now acceptable for tech.
