BRC completed and looking for a starter bike.

Just finished my BRC course at Awesome Cycles. (Thanks to all who for recommending them). Only reason I'm posting this is because I convinced my friend to sign up too. She also passed! She's never rode before (well from the front). Mike and Debbie were awesome. Ok.. sorry they got me saying that word over and over.. lol. Either way had a great group.

Looking at a few starter bikes and hope to have my friend on two wheels soon. And soon after out hanging with me for rides (after some parking lot and neighborhood practicing).

If anyone has a small beater like the ones at Awesome, let me know. But just wanted to tell her and all the people (more especially the ones that never rode before) congrats.

Makes me wonder, how did you start driving. Way back in the early 90s when I got my original license my pops put me on a bike, taught me the controls and handed me the key. lol.. Nothing like that class. And YES I F*D up the figure 8. LMAO That was just some brutal *ish. How did you do?

I was even allowed to 'play' during lunch to which I practiced my a$$ off.. One time I landed it following Debbie. Felt great.. Still kicked my a$$ in the end.. Mike while giving me my eval professionally and politely told me how bad I did it. And it was the only thing I did bad at. Everything else I blew through. I explained to the class that I was like a constipated man that was full of exlax. I SH*tted all over the place on that figure 8. haha.

Yes! Sure.. Let me put her on THAT! Might as well let her go out on the busa... Just right after I install a turbo... But let me get her to fill out this term life insurance policy and name me as the benefactor.

Of course if she were to read this I'm going to need that policy..

Are you the one that got passed by a GZ250 while on your Busa???

Congrats on the class. Glad you enjoyed it.

PS
I don't have any issues with the box, even on my 10.

Well if it came from Debbie, I know I'm not gonna challenge her.. She has mad skills and control.. She'd just challenge me to a figure 8 comp.. I'd be screwed.. lol

Wow! We went from a 10 to a 12... She'll love that.. Oh, but she wants a cruiser, so who's going to offer up a HD Screaming Eagle with a PC and has been ported next? lol

this thread is a lot of internet .
i always recommend the sv650 as a good starter bike. if she wants a cruiser though, craigslist sure does have a lot of cheap cruisers.
