Insurance help??

So I was hanging out in a parking garage riding long boards and riding the mini with some people last night. I was letting people ride the 50 I didn't know. As I always say. You can't hurt this thing. It's a 50. Man was I proven wrong last night lol. This guy was doing fine on it. He was riding around no problem. I guess he took a corner too fast and target fixated on the 4x4 foot piling. He bent my frame and his arm like a pretzel. My question is since my bike is street legal could his car insurance cover it? And if he claims it on his car insurance could they come back on my insurance for the medical bills? Trying to figure out the easiest way to get money from this guy to get it fixed.

You should not be liable for anything as he was the one operating the bike. UNLESS they try to claim it was unsafe due to maintenance or modifications.

As far as his insurance goes, depending on the company and his coverage they may cover it.

ya hes in surgery right now. He stood up and his arm folded in half. It looked like he broke his unla close to the wrist and his radius about 3-4 inches back.

Someone told me to say that he "backed over it" with his car and then they would cover it.. but with his arm looking like that I dont know how all that would go down.

Sounds like no more joy rides on the 50 eh?
