i was just reading in the cycle world and there saying in 07 they are making the ducati's 800 cc..so i looked it up on the net....

they dont race mass produced bikes in GP.

Ahh. All the manufactures will be 800cc. Ducati is just the first one test their 800cc bike. At leat the first ones to admit so publicly. The rest have been completely silent for whatever reason.

No problemo. MotoGP is a 'prototype' racing series. The bikes are basically hand-made one-of-a-kind wonders of high-tech goodness! Ok.. so they make a few of them.. so I guess they are a 'few-of-a-kind' hehe. The teams pay multi-million bucks per year just to lease those bikes from the factory.

yea i remeber reading about one of the honda's it was like 5 million a year to race it.
