FS section question

As a community of Riders shouldn't we be looking out for each other? If there is a ridiculous, "rip-off", price listed in a FS thread shouldn't we be able to warn newcomers or people that are unaware of the value of an item?

I know I would want someone to point out to me if something was over or undervalued. So, should protecting other Riders from getting ripped result in a warning or notice?

On a totally different thought. Say you saw biker at a gas station and said "hey man, your belt is frayed or your chain is loose". Do you think he would respond with "hey dont knock my bike bro, stay out of my business!"

Anyways, just a thought.

Do you go around writing each business letting them know you found it cheaper somewhere else and they should lower their price? Do you walk around Bestbuy telling each person that they can get something cheaper at Fry's? If someone wants to sell something, and they want X amount of dollars, leave them alone. If someone doesn't do their research that is their problem. Leave it alone.

additionally....
plus, people are selling things for what they believe they are worth. If you want to buy it and believe it is over priced, its called a negotiation. If you are not even intending on buying something, why the post with useless comments?

also, who knows what kind of condition the other piece is in? If it is legit, etc...
most comments are from what others have seen in other places ON THE NET!

If someone gets ripped off, they didnt do their research.

As far as selling history, thats where feedback rating comes in.

That simple.

I honestly dont feel sorry for someone when they get ripped off. Especially in this day and age when the resources are abundant (internet)
