Cool New guy here!

Hey guys, just joined today.
I don't have a bike yet but I really really want one. Although I'm not too sure which one I want - either a CBR600, Ninja ZX-6R or a GSXR 600...I love the look of them all!! I have only ridden my brother's 650R and my friends Ninja 636 and I really liked both! Of course the 636 was more fun
So any suggestions would be great and I'm happy to be here guys!

Spend a weekend just going out and sitting on different bikes.
I was set on getting an R6, and after sitting on a lot of different bikes, the CBR felt perfect for me.

For me, it would go, CBR>R6/ZX6R(they're even)>GSXR.

Just gotta find the bike that feels good to you. Everyones different.

Welcome to MH.

Welcome to MH

I say the 1st ZX6R or the 2nd CBR600RR

Spend a weekend and go look at them ALLL....Sit on the and see which bike is most comfortable to YOU... Suggestions on a motorcycle forum are going to be crazy long. It is what best fits YOU and what YOU are most comfortable on.

I actually took my class at Awesome Cycles like 2 years ago, but I was lazy and didn't get my license till just a few months ago lol.

Yeah, the reason I didn't put the R6 on my list is because I remember sitting on one a while back and it was NOT comfortable for me at all. I'm a pretty tall dude and it was even hard for me to have my feet touch the ground.

I haven't sat on a CBR600, but I remember sitting on a 1000 (too much bike for me right now) but I did like it! And of course my friends ZX-6R. Now I just need to go try out a gsxr!

thanks for the input guys!

Welcome Brotha! Welcome!

In the end, it's going to be on what you like the most. I prefer the GSXR's, but it's safe to assume why.

Yeah I'm about 6'2.
And the R6 that I sat on was a couple years ago, and it was new so probably an 07 or 08 model? something like that.

Nothing wrong with the 650R, I'd just want something a little more sporty
Seems the GSXR is one of the more popular ones and after watching the "Twist the Throttle" documentary on Suzuki, Honda, and Kawasaki, seems the GSXR is a favorite for professional riders as well.
