My mom's 70 years old, average size, and owns and rides an Electra Glide Classic. Now who has a "girl's bike"?

lol, you'd love HD-Forums.com

they've all got 150 HP Harleys that run 10 second quarters that will spank ' ' from stoplight to stoplight.

they never break down and you can sell them after ten years for twice what you paid originally.

Yes you always see Harleys leaking, smoking or just beat to , but its becuase most of the time the dude on it has put more then 50-100k miles on it and its a 70-80's Model. Dont fix it if it aint broke lol
Hmmm.... my dad's 51 panhead needed a quart of oil a week. His '99 softail doesn't have as many miles as my VFR and he has had to replace the master cylinder, rear shock blew, and something else I can't think of at the moment. My uncle has a street glide that had to have the engine replaced in under 25k miles due to the bearings going out so bad it ruined the block. , I just realized, I'm coming up on 24k on my VFR and according to you I need to buy another bike in the next couple months. Crazy considering nothing has been changed from original except oil, tires, chain, sprockets, and battery....

I guess we must have the wrong Harleys here or something.

Go to Yankees on a Harley weekend. Most of them are about 3-4 years old. Chrome polished. 4k miles on the odometer on average...

I just smile at all the riders acting tough and quietly park my 60k miles japanese plastic toy that gets washed twice a year to the side. Wouldn't want to get any dust on those nice Harleys.
