PP1, anything ever out there on Fri/sat nights anymore?

So the GF is dragging me to that side of town one night this weekend for dinner and BS so I thought maybe we would ride over there and if any bikes are cruising or posing....

What's the rundown over there? Any action on weekend nights?

Man I miss the old James Coney Island days...any of you older fellas will know what I'm talking about...

Man I rode down to westheimer today for the first time in many many years, I stopped at jamba juice/ starbucks because there were a few bikes parked there. I pulled up and asked a couple of guys standing there if they were going to ride tonight or just hang out, one guy answered me and said he was not sure the other guy looked at me like I was intruding in his life an walked off.
I left and rode down to coney island just to have a look, for the next few minutes I just thought about how it was better back then. I can remember when if you had a bike you you RODE the out of it and you could count on coney island for finding people always willing to pound the streets with you.
I left the street to race for a few seasons, I left racing to be daddy to my little girl, I feel the only place that I
gonna find people to ride with again is to get back on the track because it's a whole new type of rider out there today.
I to brother miss the old coney island days!

Well, if you're looking for action, wednesdays are good. PP1 at around 8 and then they usually ride over to ASI and then some street riding after that. I think that's gonna go down this coming wednesday the 11th.

Cajun315, I often think about JCI and trying to get it revived again. It will never be like it was but.....I think with all the MH peeps, we could get a good showing out there and maybe with other riders seeing it, they will pull in.

I remember going to JCI just about every sat night from 98' to about 02 or so...right up to the big Kmart parking lot bust. I loved seeing everyone's bikes and new mods every week...but it just got too crazy with all the racing and stunting that the public uproar ended it... If people would just ride normal out there and not act a fool we could probably still be hanging out there.

The problem with PP1 is that they meet Wednesdays too late and I have to work weekdays. :(

Hey Zapata, I tried to copy your pics from your old photo host but couldn't get it to work. I'm not on facebook, there anyway you can move em to a new host and post em up here? I would love to see those old JCI pics again.

Talking

ZX,
Yeah I was running in the jci crowd from 93 to 01, fresh out of high school and acting like a fool!

I'd be down with trying to meet up there on a sat night soon, I bet the pepole there would flip s@#t to see a crowd forming there. I say lets do it!

Its usually a hit or mis on friday or saturdays its mostly friends calling friends to chill. But some peeps do get offended when u try and get to know new people so i have learned myself. Some other times people are nicer. I usually hit up PP1 on weds and thrus nights after i get out of work from 12-4am.
