you are using your rear brakes too much. bottom line. your front brakes provide most of your stopping power. if you are that hard on your rear brakes, don't be surprised if one day your rear end steps out from underneath you.

hmm I use both the front and rear break almost every stop and my 07 cbr seems just fine. They feel just like new and that's also with track days on them too.

I think I replaced my rear 1x in 62k mi

And my bike had linked brakes, so whenever I touched the ft brakes, the rears engaged
