Question Need a permanent fix for my Honda 50

So my front wheel for some reason has been out of alignment with the handlebars for the past few months. I don't know why. If you've been out to Monday night minis, you've probably seen me stopping periodically and kicking my front tire back straight again. After a couple wheelies, it's back off-center again. It seems like it's only getting worse and i cannot figure out what the deal is. It's not like i'm running into and knocking the wheel off center.

Also to note.. When i take my front wheel off the bike, the fork legs both turn a good 45 degrees clockwise. It's a pain in the fighting to get my front wheel back on. I can move the forks straight by hand but they don't stay that way due to the springs keeping tension on them making them turn.

I'm wondering if that's what may be the cause of the problem. The bike is rideable but it gets old fighting the issue everytime i ride.

Any input will be appreciated.

Well, i havn't checked that. I've thought to check that but they are stock forks. I don't see how loosening them up (since the only place to loosen them is at the top triple) could help straighten the wheel out since the forks are not like big bike forks.

What exactly do you readjust? I'm just not sure what to tackle to fix this.

I'll check it but, i'm 100% certain they are tight as they always are. , i put the front wheel back on the bike last weekend and Monday it's still the same problem.

Have you checked your bushings? Mine is doing the same thing. I'm pretty sure it's the bushings. I can just live with it lol.

Haha then I would bet money that's the problem lol. Theres no fork tubes to twist in the triples. It's all solid. So it's probably bushings or fork legs are bent.

Mine started doing it Monday night after looping a stoppie... Steve was saying that usually the triple is loose, just tighten the bolt back down.. I haven't did it yet but will before next MNM

After a couple people looking at it last Monday, i'm ordering a new set of fork bushings becuase i apparently don't have anything in there anymore hahah.

I think that should be the right fix. We'll see.

I'm looking forward to seeing how much easier it gets to do stoppies without a crooked & sloppy front end.
