Stolen Fender Eliminator and License Plate

So the story is I got home today and when I look at the rear of my bike I realize someone stole my fender eliminator w/ the license plate while at work. Just a heads, cause I would have never imagined that someone would steal a f-ing fender eliminator and in the process take the plate with him. Now I'm having to make a few calls to report the stolen plate and a few trips this week to get a new plate. Oh, I forgot to mention that I just got the bike and havent even got the title transfered. And without that I cannot do anything. Awesome week for me!!!

that sucks, but at least they didn't take the whole bike. Sounds like you need a more secure storage location

at least all they took was the plate, and not the whole bike! sucks that you have to go through this hassle, but keep ur head up and stay positive!

Isn't there a scam where they steal a plate from a bike to use on a stolen bike that is the same year/model/color? I remember this happened to someone on MH a while back and that was the suspected intent.

Get some paper plates from the Tax office and get that title in your name. Then they'll give you tags and new plates.... Im in the process of doing this as well.....

i dont know exactly which FE you had on your r6, but if its in the stock location, its supposed to be bolted from the inside of the tail. that means the whole tail would've had to been taken apart to get to it. seems like a lot of trouble to steal a FE

Yep, my bikes sleep inside. This happened while at work. It didn't fell off cause as soon as I realized it I went back immediately the same way I came home and there wasn't anything.

No, it came from Dallas. I went to buy Andy's two days after he sold it, which made me really mad cause 3 months prior to that I offered him the exact amount he ended up letting it go for, LOL But I ended up getting a good deal up in Dallas.
