Minimum items everyone will need so you can prepare now is:

1. Entry fee
2. 1 or 2pc leather suit - owned or rented/borrowed
3. Over the ankle boots - owned or rented/borrowed
4. Over the wrist style gloves
5. Plenty of gas for the transport vehicle and the bike, and an extra can of gas just in case you need to refill the bike.
6. LOTS of water. Seriously. You can't drink too much that day.
7. Tape to cover all lights on the bike. -Preferrably ALSO pull light fuses.
8. License plate removed.
9. Tires with decent tread left on them

Generally make sure the bike is in good working condition.

Do you know how much it is to Rent the leather/boots??

I'm not worried about it.
I just don't want to be thrown out for setting a track record my first time out.

I have never been on a road course i used to have a drag bike for the strip i have learned in my past expiriences that street tires on a track is not the way to go but besides that i have been told that a bike lilke mine is too much power for the track and that i wil lose it so i want to get another track bike first.

Leather rental is $99.00, it gets you boots, gloves and 1 piece leathers, AND, we credit the $99.00 toward the purchase of a new set of leathers if you decide your hooked.
You can rent them here: www.trackleather.com , or you can come by the store to pick them up if you're attending a track day we're not scheduled to be.

not nec. true, lots of liter bikes on the track.. it takes alot of throttle control to keep it on two wheels..

the rider and skill levels for most are way below the potential of street tires.......now if you ham fist it, or do stupid things track tires will not "break" as early as street tires, but they will break at some point and time.

it's all about riding within YOUR limits, cuz chances are your not gonna exceed the bikes or tires.
