Alan and Josh's are 100% street capable. Josh's bike had a Bazzaz, ceramic bearings, TRE, and MR9 fuel only I believe.

Do you want to meet people who share your 2 wheel passion and maybe makes some new riding buddies?
Do you want to share information and learn about other aspects of the sport?

OR are you just looking to people off by being abrasive, and make your self feel better by running down the way they choose to ride?
We don't slam Harleys here, in fact many of our members ride cruisers and we even have a "Cruiser" forum, maybe easing up and joining the discussion with less attitude would help.
, just a opinion on "import" speedometers. as far as the "hostile" part,i think the hostility is on your side.
i still dont think the bike in the vid is anywhere near 186, if you have been that fast and say its right i"ll take your word for it. as far as the 80 mph harley comment, they run 82 for the record.

That certainly does not mean they are. I have never had one with stock gearing off by anywhere near that amount.

Perhaps that's why they use the GPS?? I always use my GPS in the speedo screen to see my exact speed and also 'cause is more visible at night.

GPS isn't perfect. It's saved a max speed of over 100mph before while I was in my car and I never went over 80

Been close to that fast, all the reviews say the bike is that fast and the article said it was verified by GPS. It looked pretty close to me.
As far as my hostility goes you are mistaken. I owned a Harley for 7 years... loved it. It was beautiful and made such sweet music.
It's just that when a guy that calls himself "Fasthog" comes in talking about "" bikes, it sounds a little abrasive, especially when the bike in question is NOT Japanese but made in Germany.
Maybe we got off on the wrong foot so how 'bout this...
Start an intro thread, post some pics of your scoot, tell us about yourself and why you call yourself fasthog? If we meet sometime the first beers on me
