the twisties

anyone hear of angels backbone?

i was at the Frio river this past week and i saw a shirt with angels backbone on it

i found it, but i didnt have my bike , but its from Medina, Tx to Leaky, Tx and the place to stop is The Bent Rim for some chow and then to Camp Wood, Tx from there...

its a far drive for some nice flowing turns, but the whole time we were there i was thinking... "I wonder what this would feel like at 60mph instead of 35

Never heard it called that but it's one of the 3 sisters. I suppose somebody thought giving it a catchy name (playing off Devil's Backbone) would sell Tshirts and bring in more tourists.

Are you sure thats not Scenic 470 which is south but parallel to 337. Good road and much less traveled than 337....

Come to think of it, may be a sign, over on the west end of 337 towards 55
