Stoner did 2'05.991 during first practice at the MotoGP Silverstone round, so Rea's time would have put him 5th in that session, just ahead of Spies with a 2'07.250

and welcome back Akira even if he is a little race rusty

Brilliant for Cal
just a thought but Rossi rode the WSBK R1 a few weeks back and now suddenly it's winning races!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
coincidental???????????

I read that the top 10 WSS finishers would have won the recent Moto2 race held there with their elapsed race time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Laverty and Lascorz deserve good things for next year

They did say Cal and Toseland are running completely different setups, but Toseland did show better in race 2.

I could tell Cal was just chilling behind Rea in Race 2 tho... silly announcers never picked up on it.

I'd like to be able to chill like that

Lot of rumour/talk that Cal is being lined up for Tech3 MotoGP for 2011.
And Rea for Suzuki MotoGP (prey not )

The Cal move makes sense from a marketing point of view. MotoGP needs an English on the grid.

For Rea, well, I heard that spot was already given to Elena Myers

Good weekend, races were entertaining.
