I could be way off but I don't think that helmet would sell for $450 here.

In Europe I always found prices to be about the same, regardless of the exchange rate. Like, here a CD costs $15 and there it costs 15 euros - so whenever I've travelled it was like getting robbed because it seemed you were paying 50% more for everything. I'd bet that helmet would be in the $300 range here.

If I'm not mistaken, one of the hottest helmets in Europe is Simpson, which happens to be an American company. Everything seems bass ackwards if you ask me.
