Killer deal on new 2009 zx-10r

I came to Lafayette, LA this weekend to visit family and on a whim, drove to Baton Rouge to look at some bikes. I call GN Gonzales (Honda, Yamaha, Kawasaki) and ask if they have any leftover '09 cbr1000s and he said he had two---a black non-abs for 10,399 and a black/red ABS for 11,299. I am pumped because the black ones are hard to find. I get to the dealership and they are selling (swear to the man upstairs) the last '09 ZX10r that they have for $8,000 brand new in the special edition green color scheme. I almost bought it. Had it been black, I wouldn't have given the cbr a 2nd thought. Also, they don't tack on fees. Its the bike and tax, title, etc. They are selling it at a loss to make room for '10 models. My jaw dropped at the price and I figured I'd post in case someone was in the market. If you're not, you may be now . Good luck if u take the trip.

Is there a reason the ZX10R's are selling so cheap? There is no difference between the 09-10 model.

Nope. There are no more leftover 08 hondas within 400 miles of here. I searched night and day for about two weeks before I just bought a used 08 with 1,800 miles on it.

There are some big rebates on them right now. I believe the 2011 model is going to be redesigned as well.
