I've found a deal on last season's Sidi Vertigo Airs for about $200 that I've been mulling over, but I know that you have to buy the Vertigo Corsas or Vortices before you get any lateral ankle support.
Then I noticed that sportbiketrackgear.com has a bunch of the Puma 1000 V1s in stock for about $300, and these appear to offer significantly more protection than the base Vertigos.
For recreational riding (some street and maybe a track day here and there) is it worth it to splurge a little on the Pumas, or would it be better to stick with the Sidis since they're a benchmark in the boot industry?
