Dang dude. I been to RR and F'ville, livingston... nothing compares to 3090 IMO besides the 3 sisters.

No, you cant really do the extreme speeds that you can in F'ville or RR, but it is very technical.

Sure, you can find sweepers and make them fun by going fast... or you can go to 3090 and still have a good time without needing to go triple digits.

3090 used to be better too, but I have been out there while it was being worked on, when it had no paint, and now that it is done (I think). Grip is alright, you just need to hold your line. Bumps? I dunno what you are talking about. It is no worse than any other street. TWS (Texas World Speedway) is probably more bumpy.

There are a couple roads around and east of Livingston that I like much more than 3090.

Dunno, maybe it's because tomorrow is the 2 year anniversary of my buds death on 3090 and I am jaded... but it has always had a "larger than life" rep, and I guess I don't sip the cool aid.

It's a good little stretch of road for 5-10 minutes of fun.... that's all

+1 I much prefer Livingston over 3090. I think the road by the lake is more technical than 3090.

If you really want technical, try Honea Egypt in the rain...

But if I really want tight "technical", I have a few roads with 10-15 mph turns to go work on.

You see a lot of us posting about how much we enjoyed our ride on 3090. It's as much the people we ride with, the time we spend socializing, the quality of the food and conversation at Yankees as it is riding the turns on 3090. When you combine it all together, 3090 is a fine place to spend a portion of our day.

224 But, truthfully - you know all the secrets. I can't wait for your return.

Group riding is for the socialization, learning the roads, and growing as a rider. 3090 isn't a road that you want to ride alone unless you've done it with a group like the gnomes who will take you at the right speeds around all the corners. Then, when you're used to it, it's great to ride when you need an outlet. Like every road it's just a road - but the beauty is that it keeps you on your toes.

I found that road on google.maps. I will have to ride out there to check it out. I feel really comfortable on roads like RR, but need more practice on the slower stuff.

I've sworn off Honea Egypt. That road is slick without the rain.

I agree 3090 is best when you ride with friends. I rode it the first time with a big group and it was a blast. The second time was with two others and it was ok. The third time was by myself and it was boring as . I have never ridden RR and would love to some day with the FK of course.
