Aftermarket Rectifier for GSXR 600 K-9

Does anyone know of any bad aftermarket rectifiers for GSXR 600? Mine has gone out twice on my new bike and I'm tired of being stranded on the highway. Its all under warrenty but apparently suzuki doesnt have their ISH together. I'm willing to fork out my own money to keep this from happening. ANY IDEAS???????????

I have a Rick's Electric sports 50 amp HD rectifier, it works fine but Ricks "HIGH WATT" stators(500w) arent worth a ....I mean they work but their output is no higher then the stock suzuki stators. I have tested this several times.

I would try to find out what is frying the rectifier... Is it overheating? is it mounted in an area that no air gets to?

This is weird for a new bike....although Joebusa's 08 Busa had charging issues last time out and drained two batteries dead....yet testing it at home shows that it is charging.

Suzuki knows about this issue very well, since the 08 Busa came out i have replaced atleast 30 reg/rec's due to a breakdown in the SCR's. If you order a new one from suzuki and it does not have a blue dot next to the identifying marks on the body, then you will have the same issues, but that is fro the Busa not the 600

That being said, run the bike to me @ suzuki of tomball so I can find the reason you are going through reg/rec's most techs never try to find what causes the problem they just replace the failed part, a proper diagnostic will get to the real issue for you.
