I don't see how HPD could have been responsible for letting that go. Rather than say your wrong, please provide some details as to how they made that call. (For the record, I've never been in the situation where I felt I needed to take up for a police department, I just believe in putting blame where it belongs)

I worked with Hundl at 701, he was a good guy who never caused any problems. I'm still trying to get over it but it hits close to home. Yea, the dumb bonded out with a 60k bond, she is being charged with intoxication manslaughter 2nd degree felony and fleeing without rendering aid. The chick got out of her car, looked at the body, and tried to run on foot. What a piece of t. It's not the same without him and everyone is shaken up by this, since he was only 25 and had no way of avoiding it and never saw it coming. RIP to a good friend and co-worker.

I'm curious as to why with so much against her, is she allowed to bond out?
To be honest, I haven't had many run-ins with the law and have no clue how it all works. I guess I just dont see how someone that can be driving intoxicated, under legal drinking age, speeding, wrecking, killing someone, and fleeing without rendering aid could be let go AT ALL?

Bond was set pretty high, guess the magistrate didn't see her as a flight risk or a danger to society . He could have placed a no bond on her though.

Since she was only charged with a 2nd degree felony thats probably why a "no bond" wasn't posted. The reason they didnt try to pin her with murder of a public servant is because he was off duty at the time and they probably wanted the charge to stick. Just because she bonded out doesnt mean she gets out. She still has to go to trial and the max for second degree is 20 years, which we're all hoping she'll get.

prosecutors want her myspace page left intact, that photos there could give an idea of her actions that night.
pics of her holding a bottle (can't tell when they were added, but last login was the 25th)

Dude, I am referring to another incident involving a drunk driver. One of the girls killed was my sister's client. I blame the officers on site who let the driver go after it was established that he was drunk.

Thanks for the info. Also, I'm completely aware that you were talking about another incident. Just wanted the details. And thanks for assuming I'm a dumbass. Next time I'll use the bold feature for you so you know exactly what I am talking about.

RIP to the rider.

How can you say you were hoping to hear she had her beat, BY COPS?

You're just as much a piece of for talking like that. She's going to get what she's got coming to her, if any of the cops laid a hand on her, they should be held just as responsible and lose their jobs.

I could see her pleading down to a lesser charge and be out in 3 or 4 years..I dont imagine she will be in jail for longer than 6 years max...
