Bike speed :)

Ok so up here there are some closed roads IE private. I ran into a state troooper the other day who says they run this road on off days. So i show up tons of cars racing no bikes. Trooper is there with his radar getting speeds so guys can know how fast they are lol... I clocked 158 when I ran the bike. This is a closed private road so I didnt break the law so no need to flame me.

Kinda curious, he clocked you at 158, did you happen to see what your speedo said. Just wondering about how much the speedo's are off.

I bet 170ish... On dyno speedo was 186 but my top speed was 173. I was next to a Civic and his speedo said 71 and my bike was reading 78-79...

Stock gearing VFRs are 10% off across the board. Lots of bikes are off at 3 digit speeds.

That's not too far off, my 04 gsxr 1000 was WAY off. I showed 135 and a cop clocked me at 109. But then again she was 1 down 2 up. I know my R1 is off, I'm showin 95 on the freeway when I'm only keeping up with traffic, still need to put on my speedo healer.
