RISE AGAINST makes video sponsored by PETA

don't watch this unless you are prepared to see brutal animal killings and abuse.

http://www.peta2.com/outthere/o-rise...o.asp?c=p21645

here's the thing though, PETA is so ****ing crooked that this video's purpose is pretty much nonsense. if you don't know about the ****ed up things that goes on behind the scenes with them, read this site:

http://www.petakillsanimals.com/

what do you guys think about all this? personally i think the video should never have been made because for 1: nothing will ever change, and 2: the band is probably protesting straight to the bank with all the controversy this will bring.

makes me ****ing sick.

Well, I don't want to watch for the very reason you cited in your disclaimer. I'm an animal lover but not not to nearly the whackiness of PETA.

We’re sorry! We can’t find that page.

This could have happened for several reasons:

1. The page might be extinct, just as you soon could be if you are still loading your plate with hamburgers, cheese pizza, and other artery-clogging animal-based foods.

2. The page might have been moved, such as animals in circuses are—for up to 50 weeks a year, they are hauled around the country in poorly ventilated trailers and boxcars through all weather extremes.

3. You might have made a mistake while typing the address, or we might have made a mistake when creating the link. Mistakes can be corrected. When Anna Wintour had a dead raccoon dumped on her lap by an angry anti-fur protester, she should have learned that wearing the pelts of animals who were cruelly gassed, strangled, or electrocuted is a big mistake. Yet the creepy Cruella continues to push fur in the pages of Vogue.

4. Our Web server might be malfunctioning. When stun guns and “killing machines” in slaughterhouses malfunction, live chickens get dumped into tanks of scalding-hot water (for feather removal) while they are still conscious, and workers cut the hooves off terrified cows.

What you can do:

1. You can try again, correcting any misspellings in the address.

2. You can read our frequently asked questions to try to find the answer to your question.

3. You can visit our home page or one of PETA’s other Web sites about the following issues:

Vegetarianism
Companion animals
Fur
Leather
Animal experiments
Circuses

Here is a complete list of PETA’s Web sites.

4. You can go vegetarian. This won’t help you find the link you’re looking for, but it will make you feel better, reduce your risk of debilitating diseases, and help save thousands of animals. It will also answer the question, “If we teach our children to be kind to animals, then why do we, as adults, still exploit them?”

5. You can do something right now to help the animals who are suffering in factory farms, circuses, and laboratories and on fur farms: You can join PETA.

6. You can report the problem.

I hate PETA. While I was in college back as USC, PETA had a "protest" where there were these models in a cage wearing vegitable thingies to cover their goodie bits ... so some guys from 'SC set up a table right next to them grilling burgers and hotdogs. It was awesome.

They are one of the most hypocritical organizations I know of ... I love animals as much as the next person, but I can tell the difference between the value of a human life versus the value of an animal.

They had one campaign in LA where they were sayin that the chicken farm industry was equal to if not worse than the holocaust.

Bunch of out of touch, "better than you" bums
