If ya'll were at Laguna last year in the pits, you could check out the Sheriff 1000rr's. Those things looked mean. Wasn't sure if it was just a race look or if the one I did see along side the road was real cops.

I would't even run from the Harley's. MC cops are pretty good riders.

They did a track day at Miller to qualify for certification to put the Busas' on the road. I know the guy that was their teacher, he's a rider on the circuit and an instructor too. Here's a quote from him regarding the Busa police pilots and their riding skills.

Quote:
I know this was already posted but I figured Id give you guys some first hand info. These guys came out to the school at Miller for two days and did the school on there Busas. So not only do they have fast bikes, they also know how to ride them pretty darn well. They were some of the fastest students at the school and were giving the racer boys on their GSXRs fits . I did have a good time passing them though

The guys that came to the school were real nice guys, totally cool and they are hoping to improve the image of sport bikers, not just chase them around. They hope that when the public sees them riding sport bikes they may take a less negative view towards them in general, less adversarial. Like I said the cops riding these bikes were pretty cool and I think its a good thing they are doing.

Because of the morons like you that make the rest of us look bad. Besides they're in Oklahoma you need not worry about competing with anyone trying to make you look better, you can look as stupid as you'd like...for now.
