Was born in Germany, lived there for 4 years, moved to TX for good when I was 4.

My grandmother (father's mom) colombian and is the 1st generation to live in the US. Born in Villavicencio, she left the country when she was 20 (1948) due to the outbreak of a terrible civil war. She wanted to start a new life - so she moved to the US - settled in NC, met my grandpa (who is black), married him, had my dad and my aunts and uncles...and the rest is history

Great x 5 or 6 Grandfather moved to Franklin, LA from Baden Baden Wirstenburg, Germany in the early 1800's met my Great Grandmother, who was half Cherokee, half Creole-French, had babies, the babies had babies who's babies had babies and one of those babies had my father who then met my Mom who had me. Mom's folks were from Louisiana too but not as sure as to the history. Anyway, 100% Creole here (which makes me more like a great big ol mix a Gumbo)...

Born and raised in Houston, TX at St. John's hospital... I love my state. Been here most of my life, tried Oklahoma for around 5 months, hurried back and will never leave again. Currently float between Temple (during week) and Houston (weekend). Can't wait to be back in the H permanently...:icon_king
