2009 GSXR 600 Stator Problems

I recently purchased my bike brand new and put 800 miles on it and the stator went out on it already. Has anyone heard of problems like this on new bikes or did i just get a LEMON.

chances are, its not the stator. they are notorious for rectifiers dying. if it was actually the stator, wow.

I believe it was the rectifier that went out on my nephews 2007 GSXR ... the dealership said it was a recall. Replace it no charge. This was back in 2008.
