been looking at electric bikes for a while, just because its something different. and for the most part they are silent, other than the chain/sprocket, and road noise.

Nothing on the "green" scope of things. I just think electrics are cool.

meh with only a 60=100 mile range depending on how big your electricity bill will increase and with a top speed of only 100mph I bet buying a ninja 250 would not only be cheaper MSRP 4000 vs 10000-13000 but the MPG the 250 gets *around 60* would take what..? 30 years to catch up in cost vs mileage and may never depending on how much electricity the thing burns through when recharging.

If they were ever able to make them cost efficient.. then it might have a slight chance of stealing away a few from normal bikes...

but i just dont see a reason to go it yet...

i think its pretty sweet, i think the whole magnet / electric power haus is pretty cool besides the recent models sounding like weedeaters.
