Everyne complains about us but we are there to do a job alot of people cant or wont do. i have seen alot of things most of you only talk about . try to do my job and then you might have respect for what we have to do and put with . also contrary to belief not all cops are friends with wrecker drivers there are alot of wrecker haters in the police force .

know as far as the guy running . if he ran and crashed that is his own fault it is not like anyone made him crash on purpose . he did that to himself . sounds like they let him go and were not going to chase him . till they found out he had crashed. as far as it goes who says the other guys wouldn't have told who he was.
Sorry dude, i am usually not one to generalize a particular group but i have to say that most of my dealing with wrecker drivers have been pretty much negative. Constantly seeing them speeding and being dangerous on the road, been in situations where they straight out tried to lie and make it seem as though they had to tow the car when that wasn't the case and dealing with the two yards it pretty much a nightmare.

You may be a good guy but i have to say i am not a fan of wrecker drivers.

LOL... someone start a poll as to what kind of personal experience everyone has had with wrecker drivers.

AGREED! I watched a couple of guys try to run from the cops a few years ago. One guy was on a 600 and the other was on something larger...not sure what. They took a back road off 288 into the Angleton area and hit a sharp corner with gravel and both ate . One guy was pretty tore up. All I could say was karma is a !

i agree there is dumb buts out there. i am just saying that not all of us are like that . i have respect for my life and freedom . this whole deal started because someone wants call a wrecker driver a a$$whole for telling a cop about an accident or criminal that crashed.

I guess it has to do with personal experience. For me, what i have observed and dealt with among wrecker drivers has been pretty negative.

There are plenty of people who don't like police officers but i have to say in my dealing with them, 95% have been pretty good. I have been let off more times then actually ticketed i have to say.

all the people who run from the police are putting their lives and the lives of others on the line . what if they hit someone you know and injured or killed them . then how would you feel about it . running from the law is a crime and what ever happens to them is their own fault . i dont have sympathy for them . just like a drunk driver who has a wreck . it is the same thing you are committing a crime and are responsible for what happens. you can not be mad at a person (who ever that is) reporting a crime.
