Fayetteville ride info?

Guys I am planning a ride to Fayetteville this weekend with a small group of buddies.... I have only been once and it has been a few years. I am following this route map that MaxGS made up years ago accept we are starting from the SE side...... My questions are:

1)Anyone know if the condition of any of these roads have changed/construction etc etc? particularly just from 36 on...

2)Any other roads we should try to ride while we are up that way....kind of close to the mapped route?

Fayetteville 090421 v1

As far as the map I am really only using from Sealy/36 on....

Any tips/info would be appreciated...

I already know to bring Water Weld for radiators and tire kit for the obvious.

rode to Fville and back last weekend. roads were great. we came from the SW, hit up racer's road (north & south), then up to Fville. came back the same way we went up. good ride. expect to be gone a good while, at least 2hrs. make sure you get the special at Orsak's.

Yeah for us it looks to be about 120 miles one way to F-Ville..... So 240-250 round trip.....I figure 5-6hrs stopping for breaks, eat lunch at Orsaks and take a leisurely pace back.... We're leaving early...

if you've never been on on those roads, take it easy. some of the turns can sneak up on you with the quickness.

It will be a medium pace...

Your completely missing 1458 "racers road", which is definitely worth detouring for.

1291 is fun.... couple of corners had gravel to the outside this spring, I was following a guy who fixated on the gravel and he low sided on one of them.
