My first gen tibby (silver 97' Tiburon) never had issues, and drew a lot of attention in kingwood for being very elegant/classy sporty car.

people asked me "how much?"

I said "Seventy-two"..
"wow! she is a beauty! what do you do to afford a 72,000 dollar car?"

me: "errr...your way off. seventy two HUNDRED dollars. its a Hyundai" (I had talen all the badges off, and put on the korean spec "Turbulence" badges)

btw

Hyosung = " YO-suhng"

Hyundai = "YUN-Die"

Yamaha = Ya-Mah-Hah (quite actually 3 distinct syllables NOT run together)

Kawasaki - Kah-dah-sak-E (depending on region of Japan, some pronounce the dub as it is , others do a slight "d" rolling of the tongue)

I think this is closer to the true pronunciation on these words.

Plus you may want to re-evaluate the Mercedes sport package "AMG", Pronouced "ah ehm gay" in German.

Akrapovic - Ah crop ovich

This one drives me insane. As popular as they are, you'd think people would know how to pronounce it.

I hate when the parts guys try and correct me.

I was at one dealer (nameless) and I asked about it and the guy was like "you mean the akra po vick?"
