Rider down. I-10 & Park 10

Bike looked to be a dark blue 04-05 or 06-07 gsxr with a blue wind screen. Big hispanic looking guy. He was sitting up in the grass, and saw a helmet by his side. Probably rear-ended the truck he was behind or got rear-ended. Happened just before I got there, and I came back around to snap a pic. Could see any damage to him, and he looked coherent.. Dont lose concentration in the heat. Esp where cars back up and stop and go getting on the freeway.

pics coming soon

Oh , that looks like my cousin. Did he have a small goatee?
He has an 06 gixxer, black and blue and he works at the Lexus on I-10 near Gessner.

He drives this way everyday.
Let me call him.

Roger that, I had to brake hard three times today on the way home! Cars braking hard in front of me twice, and once was my fault as I had my head up my not paying attention.

Hope the rider is okay.

Stay alert, stay alive!!

Just got off the phone with him. It was him.
Said he was on his way home from work. Was getting into the left lane to get on the freeway, cars in front of him slammed to a stop. It was either take the grass or hit the back of a Cadillac. He picked the grass. Says he didnt have the fairings on the bike and had a Woodcract stator cover, so bike damage was minimal to none.

As for him, not too bad off. Broken collarbone in 2 places. Said it looks like an M.
Standard ride in the ambulamps, xrays and bubblebath from 2 exotic asian nurses... LOL....

Seems to be alright, though might have to take a break from work for a month or so I'm guessing.

Ouch...
That's what I asked him, and if he would need surgery. But he says he's going to see a doctor about it tomorrow.

Is this still from that wreck Ween had when the road ended and just turned into gravel? I'm not sure on the details but I remember him going down a while back?

You shoulda stood up, looked around and said, "Did we get that? Is that a cut? Can we go home now?" LOL...

Yeah, he said he locked up the rear too but pretty much controlled it into the grass.
