I understand your frustration, but youre lumping all Officers together for the actions of a few. In Harris County alone, there are over 10K Officers. I seriously doubt the majority are running radar on the on ramps or enforcing traffic laws.

Its kinda like saying everyone on a sportbike is a squid/moron/etc.

If you or anyone else are unhappy with the way statutes are worded, complain to you State Rep; and Im not being a smart . Remember, squeaky wheel gets the grease.

Additionally, I have had a few friends complain about a cop speeding, and later about a cop going the speed limit. <shrug>

1. Because they are LEOs and you're not.
2. Because they are sworn to enforce the law.
3. I'm sure you never break any traffic laws so quit your '

Regular patrols are municipal regulation. You are not in high school anymore. At least I assume you are not. The whole "why can he do it if I can't" argument is juvenile.

+1

I personally think cops should get 1 free minute to beat the out of anyone who runs. .... if they catch them.

That sounds like the cop that got us last week. He did sneak up on us well. all 3 of us got caught by surprise and he got me for crossing EZ tag but not speeding. He had an attitude at first but torwards the end lightened up.

i don't see any reason why a cop couldn't issue a pace ticket for someone behind him the same way he could for someone in front of him.

and for SupaDave 600...get with your stupid comment.
