neither. you won't learn . do a track day, and you'll learn more in a practical setting, rather than try to figure out what all the things mean that you aren't familiar with.

You're heading in the right direction by at least trying to gain as much knowledge about riding and the technics instead of jumping on the bike and ending up in the RIP thread.

while I see your point, reading about something you don't know how to do and then trying to do it without understanding what your inputs are while doing something kinda scary seems to me to be like reading about how to fly, then stealing an F-16.
you gotta have a coach, or you don't know why you do what you do.
but I could be wrong, some people learn in different ways.

Everyone is different. I read both books before I got on the track for the first time and was very confused. After taking the CMRA race class and a couple of track days, it all started making sense.

yeah, but no way am i gonna watch this, then go tear around town like i'm invincible. it's helpful the hear/ see how it should and SHOULDN'T be done. and nothing is more helpful than a personal instructor in just about anything.

Am I the only one who see a problem with all that stealing and copyright
infringement? Guess y'all also work for free.

If you want it, buy it!
