My first lowside was on dunlops, and I've superstitiously avoided them ever since. That being said the Q2 is supposed to be a great tire.....I just won't try it.

I much prefer the rounded profile of the bridgestone than the michelin. However, my new bike happened to be shod with 2CTs, and they don't bother me like they used to on my old '02 gsxr 750.

gota agree with the dunlops being junk, was talking to a guy that used to race heavily, he said they make a good race tire, but the street tires sucked.
ive only used the first gen qualifiers. really love the feel the Pures gave me over the dunlop. .

Only contribution I can make is all I have had are pilot powers and I love them, but I don't come close to using them to their potential. Not sure what I will get next, probably a couple months away from getting a new rear myself.

Have to say Im a fan of the michelin's.. Ran the bt002 r/s and bt003 r/s, and never had an issue. Switched to pirelli's and they seem to be working very good for me, but thats mostly track riding. The front is nearly gone (edges) and seems to be a bit slippery on the street. The dragon pro's (what im on) would be way too soft for a daily rider. Maybe look into the rosso corsa for another option. Prob out of the price range of the other tires though.

I will prolly go with bt016 and 023 or 16 on the rear. They are pretty good tires, the other 2 will not last as long as the 16-23 combo. Running pirellis now but i only do track nowadays

BT-016's on k81000, agressive street riding, SMR type of stuff mainly. Good in the wet and dry, up to temps after one squirt and quick stop. Very solid feel in the turns. They seem to be wearing better than my oem bt015's so the multi compound works good. When I bought them the CT2's were more expensive but since then the CT2's have been discounted more so dunno. I would choose between those 2 though with predudice towards the stones as they won't be old stock. Oh yea.. I only got 2500miles out of my 015's and am hoping for at least 3500 from the 016's.

I have just voted for Q2's....
here is why:
Yes I have had front/rear bto16.... they doesnt last long enough with high speed into equation and plenty agressiveness, grip wise however; is great
Dunlop Q2's are what i currently running now..... durability is a blad from the hard centers and grip wisel; phenominal !

btw...Q2's warm up a LOT faster than bto16

Q2's downside i feel like the tires itself is heavier than the 16s resulting in lagg, or maybe its just me.....

bt-016's suuuuuccccccck. but my daytona is set up for a taller tire. the bridgestones are too round. made me run wide without rake and trail adjustments. try them all i say
