Monday Forest Ride, All Welcomed.

JULY 12TH.

Meet spot: 149/105 texaco
KSU : TBA 8-9am depending on people's schedules.
Pace : intermediate, but all welcomed.

I checked weather, should be good as of now, but pay attention as threat of rain will cancel this ride.

I like to go early, but times can fluxuate.

I am planning an 8-9am KSU from Montgomery.

Pace is intermediate, and at "the pace." No brakes. You can read about "The Pace" here:
http://www.motohouston.com/forums/sh...ad.php?t=45767

While my pace is intermediate, anyone is welcome. Feel free to pass me if I am holding you up. I may even wave at you to pass me if I notice that I am holding you up (please pass in opposite lane!) Noobs are welcomed too, as I will stop at every turn to let others catch up.

No significant stops for food either, it will be too early for Yankees. We Will stop a few times for about 10 mins or so, and I will bring food with me to eat. If you need to, do the same.

Pay attention and ride under your level. I try to keep it at 70% and below at all times. As one rider on one of my rides commented to me once: "I don't know how anyone crashes out here." He crashed an hour later.

The main difference from the FG route is that I don't get on the highway and hit 3090 from the south side. I hit it right in the middle.

Much more quick that way, and a lot less boring.

You do need to pay attention, however, because 149 just turns into 3090. I think you would know this, but noobs sometimes aren't ready for that first turn.

There will be warning via hand signal to slow down if there is anyone with me who doesn't know the roads.

With a KSU of 0800, I would say you'd make it back in Montgomery by 1000 or 1030.. depending on stops.
