You gotta make sure and have one on each side, so as to balance the ride

I always have at least a helmet and gloves. I feel more physically comfortable in a helmet, wind in face at 40+MPH FTL.

i've seen enough pic on the internet of ppl who look like they went through an industrial sized cheese grader. F-ck that $hit. all my gear was less than $400, and i feel much more confident hitting the road. worth it Ten-fold for just peace of mind.

I wear a helmet ALWAYS, gloves, jeans, boots, and the jacket is optional. It really depends if I am going to go on the freeway. If I am, then the jacket goes on.

I do not Squid it.

Helmet, gloves and long pants are a must for me, jacket usually. Only time without a helmet on was when Rita hit and it took me 3 hours from sharpstown to Spring, figured I was going too slow to do too much damage.

You have all seen my hospital pics from a recent accident. The helmet saved my life. My helmet has rash from my sliding face down.

I wasn't wearing my leathrs and i regret it very much. I had on knee pads and boots both of which had road rash on them.

My legs are just fine but everywhere I wasn't wearing gear got raped with the fury of a million pedofiles.

Helmet, jacket, jeans, and boots always. Gloves on freeway trips. Probably should wear those more often.

as an ex sportbike new cruiser rider i decided to try a half helmet, i gotta say it felt pretty good and the ventilation is awesome! however, i could not stop thinking about planting my mug flat against the pavement if i went down.. so conclusion, even though it is a lot cooler (ventilation wise) to ride with a half or none at all, for me, its full face all the time, and i mean all the time. its nerve wrecking...
