Pretty sad video, I have been unfortunate and had to see this up close and personal. I have seen all kinds of wrecks, and crazy stuff. The worst was at atascociata road and will clayton, back in 05. A city dump truck drive wasnt paying attention and was said to fall asleep at the wheel, and hit the back of a jeep flipped it on it side, and the dump truck came back down and ran over a guy on the corner that was working for the city at a wheel chair ramp killing him and his partner that was next to him go hit and pushed him upwards of 50ft and lived. I actually had to go to court a little over a year ago and testify on this case of involuntary manslaughter. The guy had no remorse at all, it was a big case/deal in houston. That is not the only wreck where I have seen a person get killed, it will always be with you for life.

Here is some of the information on the wreck:

http://www.leagle.com/unsecure/page....xco20100218755

The guy in the jeep is a vegitable, and the video is sad. I was the first respondent on the scene. I was at the valero gas station, thank I smoked at the time or I would have been on my bike going through the intersection at that time.

That was hard to watch but I made myself.

Baring catastrophic mechanical failure I do not believe in "accidents". Almost every wreck is the result of at least one person doing something stupid or not paying attention. Either way people should be held accountable for their actions or lack there of.

Interesting timing...

Exwf's son passed away near this time of year coming up from a car wreck when the bimmer split in half, hit from the side by a new driver that was mentally slow and speeding at 75 in a 45.

Anyone that rides w or around me knows my stand on riding in town/neighborhoods etc.

oh, i thought it was because you guys were arseholes.

ok, i kid.

its sad that our safety campaigns on this side of the ocean are watered down to not send any message.

the europeans on the other hand drive he message home.

i guess same reason our tv programming is beeped so much; protecting the feelings of the stupid and sensitive

Very sad and sobering video. The added song to it just deepens the sorrow.

u beat me to it. obviously some of these were staged/ or from commercials/ tv / movies that were choreographed.

but i'll agree, showing this on the air waves in America would be controversial at first, but would get the message home time after time.

i would imagine 50% or more of americans know of some car wreck has directly effected their live or a loved one's. And sadly, the ppl who drive like a$$holes all the time probably have to have a horrible lesson learned until they figure it out. sux

Some of those were choreographed but some were surveillance cams at intersections. Real wrecks, real death.

I remember the head on collision after the first two motorcycle crashes. Guy was running from the cops, decided to kill himself and take someone with him so he hit the toyota supra head on. both drivers died.
