My New BIke

Hey guys after my bike was hammered by a van had to go out a purchase a new one, my old bike was 05 Z1000 RIP. But I have purchased me a 2006 Black 636 and boy I think im in love cant wait to break her in and seeing what she can do.

Boo has a black 06 636 and rides with TurboLShatch

Yeah a steering dampner would be a good addition, although I have yet to do one. Of course the undertail exhaust is hot hot hot!!! Errr the stock rearsets are weak lol...don't ask how I know this...

need to replace the stock screen with double bubble...I heard it's hard to see the speedo with the stock screen.

They improved is a little on the 06, but it could still be better.

Notorious in the racer circle for transmission problems. Other than that change your oil VERY frequently especially after hard ridding where the slipper clutch is used a lot. Everythime it kicks in there is mechanical wear that leaves bits in the oil to be trapped by the filter. Any slipper clutch equiped bike should have more frequent oil changes than manufatures' specs. Bring that baby out to the track if you r really want to see what it will do, or rather what it was meant to do. That bike is poetry on the track!!! Congratulations on a great bike.

I don't find it terribly hard to see the tach...a smoked widscreen might help...but I have no problems.
