not to be morbid, but if dps is involved in an accident it's usually not good news.

a group of my bicycling buddies were on the northbound feeder road about 1030 that morning and the rider went blasting by them with the bike at full song running up through the gears.

He got on I-45 and about a half mile later they went by the accident scene.

Said the rider was up and walking about with HW patrol there blocking traffic and his full leather suit was torn on the shoulder and arm.

The bike was laying about 200 yards on down the HW from rider.

Triple digits speeds were involved as they said he went up through at least four gears with the bike at high rpm in each.

I don't want to come off like a gear , but noobies please pay attention to the bold text.....

If you're going to do really stupid , atleast gear up for it....

, I'm pretty sure that I can do 140 in 4th on my ZZR 600, and there's no way it could keep up with a busa.

well at least that cat was up and about. guess all he needs to do is pay his fines, repair that bad boy and check his 'lessons learned' folder before the next ride.
lot better than a RIP thread for sure.
keep the rubber on the road

yea i figured it would be something like that... but perhaps i am reading to much into it... but even with a full suit on what exactly would a 140+ mph slide do to you?

My brother told me about a guy that fell off at 150 mph and was fine (w/tracksuit). After this incident it is a little more believable...
